Dear Laura,
Clara and Harold were such an important addition to the Ann Arbor community and when you decided to join them and then to raise your own family here, there was such joy. Clara's passing does bring the end of an era, but we all have many happy memories of her time here and you have so much to be proud of.

Dear Anna and Laura,

Your grandma and mother was a kind, intelligent, and artistic person. She would glow with love and excitement when she saw you as a baby Anna, as I'm sure she did every time since then that she was with you. I am happy that I had the opportunity to know her. Thinking of you both.

Dear Laura,
I was saddened to read of your loss; you have had too much sadness. I hope that the future with your strong spirit will be a meaningful and rewarding one as you so richly deserve.

I would often see Clara when she came to visiit her husband, Harold, at Glacier Hills. My father was also a resident there in the last, and most fragile years of his life. She was a kind, and beautiful woman. I wish her peace, Shalom, and well being. We will see each other again, God willing.

Dear Laura and Anna:

Your mother and grandmother was an extraordinary woman who made such a positive impression on everyone she met. She was gifted with a bright and curious mind, strong and intelligent opinions, and a vivid artistic sensibility. When I first met her I felt as though she became an instant friend. I know the friends she made for those 14 years at Glacier will miss her terribly. I know you two will as well. Marv and I are thinking about you and send our love. Jane
