Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

i loved reading this man's amazing story--especially the love story--handsome sailor, filled with exuberance, choosing his bride, connie, with a princely kiss.

blessings to your family, may you carry on his legacy of good. and may he continue to flower and teach and spread light in whatever comes next in his being.

. . . a guy i'd have liked to have known, a family of worth to be sure. perhaps one day we'll cross paths. . .

Lisa's dad was the best. He was often there at the house when we would visit throughout our high school years. He loved his girls... and their friends! He was blessed to have you all with him not only throughout his years but into his passing. He definitely picked the right woman to kiss when he got off that train! What a legacy he has left to you all. My heart and prayers are with you as you make this transition. Your memories and the stories you will tell of him will be a great source of comfort and joy.

Mr. Vanover was a great guy! I remember him "on the hill" and at the lake throughout my high school years. He loved his girls... and their friends! What a blessing that he had all of you with him throughout his life and into his passing on to the next. Your memories and stories of him will sustain you through those hard times. What a legacy he has left you all... you are blessed.

Connie and family, we are so sorry for you loss of Ed. He was witty and always made some kind of joke of anything that came to his mind. We enjoyed both of your company with Bill and Ann at Haab's and where ever we were. Ed will always be remembered and in our hearts. Pauline and Gary Haywood, Ypsilanti
