Jim was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He made you feel as if he cared what I was saying, and was so easy to talk with. He never complained. He taught me much about patience and forgiveness. I will miss him very much, having spent a lot of time with him over the last year as his health declined. I know we had a special bond and I will meet him on the other side of the river as I promised him

Mr. Ford interviewed me at Ford Motor Credit and I saw him several times while in Dearborn and through out my 38 years with the company. What a wonderful man and always had warm greeting with a wonderful smile. He was really very well respected by both me personally and all that met him. RIP in Mr. Ford, thank you for helping me build a life with a great company. To his family and loved ones, he was the best.

Jim was a great friend to the entire Secrest family for years. He and my Dad worked together at Ford for several years before Dad retired in 1980. I worked with Jim (at a different level) at Ford Credit and also as volunteers at Starfish Family Servicwes.
He and his first wife traveled to New Zeeland several years ago. All the Secrests join me in mourning the loss of a fine man and extending our sympathy to his family and friends.

Jim Ford was a kind man, who looked after each person who worked for him. He shared his intelligence and kindness and was a thoughtful person from the time I first met him, and also while working for him as the head of Ford Credit. I share my sympathy with his family. His impact on all of us was profound and lasting to this day.
