Sue, our family has you in our prayers. Getting to know John was one of my fondest memories of growing up. John worked with my grandfather, Ray Quigley, and when I visited "grandpa's garage" John would be there to say hi and to tease a bit. What a great person he was to my grandfather and to our entire family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I truly enjoyed the banter John and I shared at the mailbox and I thank you for all the memories shared about our ties to the fire department. He was a great man and friend. May he rest in peace. Ruth Ann Stone

Thoughts, prayers and hugs to the Wurster family. It was always a great time when John came calling. Our fathers shared many conversations and laughs over the years. I will always remember his nick name for me.....he would say. How's it going Mary Skinny.....
