Karen Carlino Obituary

Carlino, Karen (Leach) Cordoba, Argentina, formerly of Chelsea Karen passed away on Oct. 25, 2018, at an Argentina hospital after a bout with cancer. Her husband was by her side. She was born Nov. 27, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Melvin & Barbara Leach. Karen graduated from Chelsea High School in 1969. She then attended Eastern Michigan University and there she obtained her Bachelors and Masters Degrees. After graduating, Karen worked in professional positions in both Michigan and Argentina. Karen is survived by her husband, Adrian Carlino of Cordoba, Argentina; her parents, Melvin and Barbara Leach of Chelsea; her sisters, Kathy (Daniel) Spaulding, Cindy (Wesley) Mikesell, Susan (Ron Wolfe) Leach; her aunt, Marsha Gould; her uncle, Merle Leach; nieces and nephews, Nicole (Jason) Adams, Justin Degregorio, Anthony Degregorio; 3 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew; cousins, Kelly Berryman, David Leach, Jim Leach, and Kraig Leach. A celebration of her life will be held Nov. 17, 1-4 pm at the Artic Breakaway Restaurant in Chelsea.

I will miss Karen a lot. She was a kind of person absolutely wonderful.
She will be always in my heart and I will try to put in practice all about she taught me as a tutor English teacher of children and adolescents.
