My heart sank when I stumbled across her house for sale. The photo of her house shows our old house in the background. We were as close friends as we were neighbors! Hilarious memories. We were long time friends up and down the street with impromptu parties.
And we were the first to break up the crowd when we moved to New Mexico in 1975. We kept up correspondence and gradually as neighbors died or moved away, we lost track but Kathy faithfully sent us Xmas letters. I will miss those greatly... and the after-work beers and arguments (is photography a trade or an art?)
Say hi to Scotty, keep some love for yourself.

Kathy was a wonderful mentor to me as a new PT. I appreciated her forthright manner, her humor and her compassion.

I'd like to honor the sweet and feisty girl that I knew back in the 60's when she was married to Scotty. Scotty and I worked at the same architectural firm in Bloomfield Hills, and I sometimes rode with Scotty from Ann Arbor on our daily commutes. He absolutely adored Kathy and I loved hearing their story of meeting in Germany when he was in the service. They had fun parties at their Ann Arbor home as we all started out in our careers and our grown up lives in the hotbed of social change and sticky politics and wars that framed our era, and still challenge us today. Honors and Respects to Kathy and my Sympathies in this loss to family and to those of you who knew her and shared her friendship in these many years since I left her and Scotty, dear friends, in Ann Arbor when I moved to Denver.
