We were so saddened to see Larry's name in the e-news this morning. He was such a special man. Raised some great kids. Made the neighborhood a fun place. I remember the Lionel train set that he made for John... The envy of every kid on the street.
The transformer had two controls, running two trains at a time, landscaped and all. I thought John was the luckiest kid on the block. Larry made that all happen. Quite a man!
I so appreciated Jeanne and Larry when John and I would get into mischief because they were able to chill my parents out like no other. They were a great pair!

Sue and I both send our deepest condences to the family.

DEAR JOHN, LINDA & JEFF.....I AM SO HAPPY I WAS ABLE TO SEE YOUR DAD NOT LONG AGO. HE JUST ALWAYS LOOKED THE SAME TO ME :-) LIKE JOHN KING SAID IT WAS NICE TO HAVE HIM IN OUR BURNS AVENUE NEIGHBORHOOD. ALOT OF MEMORIES FROM THERE.....FROM PLAYING MARBLES TO RIDING GO~CARTS AND MINI BIKES AND WHO COULD FORGET THE ICE RINK LIONEL MADE IN HIS FRONT YARD EVERY YEAR!! THAT WAS A FEAT IN ITSELF! GIVE MOMMA JEAN A KISS FOR ME AND TELL HER SHE AND ALL OF YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

What a wonderful man and a wonderful life. Sixty two years in his profession, a wonderful family, thirty five years in an exceptional retirement, and sixty eight years with the love of his life. What a wonderful legacy.
