Lorraine, in memory of you I write this tribute . Sorry Sis, I waited too long to give you a hug in person or call you in your lasts days on this planet. NO excuses. However you were in my thoughts and prayers daily as you are now.I remember you always called me your little brother. I honor that title. Soon a special wind chime will be arriving at your home (not your new home in heaven, the one on earth.) This wind chime is tuned to the song "Amazing Grace", with the inscription THE PERIORD FAMILY on the ringer. I visualize your spirit gently blowing on the chime as it plays some of the notes of Amazing Grace, my way of making sure those who hear the music will never forget an Amazing YOU. I know I talk too much, and I ordered 2 masses in your name at your church, St. Mary's. (Nov 11 & Nov 18th). I asked why so far out? She said they are booked full til then? So today, Friday I will go to my church and light a candle in your memory as well for all those no longer in my life. There is a song by Willie Nelson, "Always on my mind". I play this song in my head from time to time your now as well as others will be ALWAYS ON MY MIND! May GOD bless everyone and sister may GOD THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY GHOST hold your soul gently in HIS hand with unconditional love.
Your little brother, BILL, AKA to a few as Billy Gumm

Lorraine was a wonderful nurse who was caring member of our old 4100 unit in the old StJoes building. She was highly respected by all of us.She was the epitome of grace-I always admired how she chose her words carefully. I never heard her speak ill of anyone. She was unfailingly kind. Lorraine is remembered by many of us.

Missing you before my eyes today as your life will forever be entwined with mine. A mothers love is unconditional and given without reservation. I see in your eyes the life you saw reflected back at me. I held your hand to comfort you but the comfort was to heal my heart and say goodbye for now. Your voice, your words, your touch are the things I will miss most. You gave me life and set me free to find my way in the world. My life was so blessed because of your love. Rest well dear mother until our souls come together once again someday...
Love your son,
Dave
