Sept 27, 2016 I was so shocked to learn Michelle had passed Away! I met her when we both were doing our physical therapy internships in Green Springs, Ohio. Then we both went to University Hospital in Ann Arbor for our final internship, then worked in Pontiac,MI together. At work she was my role model of a skillful and compassionate therapist and she taught me to believe in myself so that I could help others. After work she was just so much fun!! I cannot believe she is gone. I remember when her first baby was born and how happy she was to be a mother. To her family, I am so terribly sorry for your loss, but thank you for keeping this Guest Book online permanently in her memory.

I only recently heard of the passing of Shelly and was so sorry to hear this news. I was very close to her at the University of Michigan Physical Therapy program as undergraduates and we were roommates when we worked as physical therapists in Pontiac, Michigan. I moved to California but would continue to visit her in Michigan. I continued to be in contact with her over the years until about 15 years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her children.

I met Michelle in college in an Ecology class. It was our junior year and she was looking for a roommate for the following semester. I was delighted to join Michelle in a house on East Hoover during the summer prior to our senior year and lasting through graduation at the University of Michigan. Michelle was a wonderful being, shining brightly with Divine love for all who entered her sphere of enlightenment. She was joyous, hardworking, spontaneous and exuded a joie de vivre that drew people to her. She had a kind word for everyone and you felt safe and loved in her presence. Even though we didn't keep in touch over the years I did have the opportunity to see her one last time at her mother's funeral service. I met her lovely boys and knew she was devoted to them and felt so fulfilled in her role of motherhood. I have thought of her often since our college days and will continue to keep this extraordinary, bright light in my prayers as a role model and friend. Blessings to you, Michelle!

Love,
