As soon as I saw her walking down the stairs with Bob in Sydney, I knew it was my cousin. The same long face, the nose the intelligent eyes. There were 6 Arnison cousins there - around 20 of us including partners and kids. We were going to have dinner together but we didn't move from the hotel bar. Too much to talk about - too much to learn about each other - we crammed 70 lost years into a space of 6 hours. The next day we met for a more sedate morning tea and then we said our goodbyes. My eyes locked with Nicky's and we both cried. As with Christine there was an instant bond when we met and a feeling of loss when we parted. But my memories are precious.

Marc, Jennifer and Melissa, Sally and I are so sad to hear of Nancy passing. We have such fond memories of all the times we spent together, from nursery school to high school days. The family trips to FL together and all the wonderful meals your mom prepared. Nancy's sharp wit and critical thinking were always the highlite of every dinner we spent together. Nancy will be missed by so many, our prayers are with you all and your families. May God be with Nancy and give each of you strength and peace.

Jennifer and Melissa - you are probably too young to remember, but I first met your mom when you were little girls and she hired me to do Interior Design. As a young Interior Designer she and your dad were my first "real" clients. She had a very smart idea of developing a 5 year plan that we would work towards a bit each year - which we did. She was such a good client and I so enjoyed her company and working with her. Long after our work was done, I was always very happy to bump into her from time to time and catch up. The last time was at a movie this past March. She told me she still had the furniture we selected so long ago and still loved it. That pleased me as did seeing her again, though I wondered about her health (she didn't let on how ill she had been.)Your mom was a wonderful woman that I enjoyed knowing and am sadden to know has left us too soon. May your memories of her help you through this difficult time.
