I'm a graduate of Cass Techs Class of 2018 and I was nominated and won the award left behind by Mr. Debrodt and I'd like to extend my sympathy and just thank you for helping me on my journey to become a great musician.

Dear Barbara,

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Bob will surely be missed by all who knew him.
Someone noted that he "was friend to so many." I agree and am thankful that I shared some evenings of your "hot jazz" with him and others in our early years of
retirement.
Peace,
Ernestine McGlynn

Dear Barb, Pat & I extend our sympathy. You and Bob have been such great Loch Alpine people. We, as your other LA friends here over so many long years, remember you & Bob very fondly. It's been our good fortune to have known you both. We hold your hand now in sorrow. Bob

My deepest sympathy to Barbara and family in the loss of such a special husband, father and friend to so many. It was my privilege to call Bob a friend. I was fortunate to be a recipient of his many years of giving back to the University of Michigan and the Ann Arbor community. Bob volunteered numerous hours at Turner Senior Resource Center in his professional advisory capacity. Many of the successes of the center can be attributed to his expertise in grant writing and program experience. I will also always be grateful for his mentorship and friendship. I learned of his fondness for his family, music, the Navy and the humor he brought to life. His was a life well lived and much was gained by those he touched in so many ways. He will be missed by all.
