Although I knew Sue for only a short time, we quickly became good friends, sharing lovely lunches discussing knitting, arts, travel and life. A truly elegant and dignified woman, she will be missed by all of us who were lucky enough to share a part of her life's journey. My deepest condolences to the family.

I'm so sadden to hear about your Mother, Whitney and Jordon. You and your family are in my prayers. She was a beautiful person. Hugs

Sending my deepest sympathies to Sue's family during this difficult time. I had the benefit of reporting to Sue since joining the U-M annual giving team in April of 2016. It was a pleasure to learn from her during this time and I had the utmost respect for her steady and thoughtful approach to her work. We enjoyed discussions about our love of perennial gardening and shared laughs about similar family camping trips each of us experienced growing up as Michiganders. She would share fond memories with me from some of her previous travels including a trip she took to Italy with her mom. Sue lived her life with a quiet dignity and grace and her love for her daughters was evident as was her compassion for animals, including her dog Wesley. May the comfort of family and friends bring you solace and even joy as you reflect together on the meaning and impact of Sue's life. She will be missed deeply by those that had the opportunity to work with her. So sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Sue at Midland Center for the Arts. She was a true appreciator of the arts, and always wanting to learn more. Her kindness and willingness to listen to others was so appreciated. May the many memories comfort you during this difficult time.
