I was shocked to hear of Terry's death; I worked with him and his complatriot Oz Ezoti during there stint at their office on Washtenaw twenty years ago as their adjacent interior designer. I enjoyed his company and versatile mind immensely as we co-laborated on several projects. The one thing that stands out in my mind is that Terry was the funniest guy that I have ever worked for. I often could not get any work done around him because I was laughing so damn much. I am sure he is coming up to God in heaven and telling him how he design that space so much better...Carter Blocksma ASID

I met Terry during probably the most difficult time of his life, after his heart attack. I was his occupational therapist at what was then called the Howell Care Center. He credited me with saving his life, which I do not agree with, but I am honored that he felt so highly of me. It was a team effort to rehab him back to home. It was a long and difficult rehab for him, but he never gave up. I considered him a friend and I regret that I did not see him after he left the rehab center. It looks like he was able to enjoy life a few more years after leaving Howell and for that I am extremely happy. I will always use him as an example for others, to give others hope of recovery from injury. God bless you Terry, I am sorry that we met under those circumstances, but happy to have known you.

Terry has been my best friend for over fifty years. Our birthdays were one day apart. We met at Miami University as young architecture students and shared many crazy adventures during our five years at Miami. After graduation we took different paths, but always stayed in touch through our yearly telephoned birthday greetings. Over the years we shared our short stories and poetry. Following Terry's heart attack we reunited in person when I visited him in the nursing home.Since then we established more constant contact. We found we had a mutual interest in painting and as we eased into retirement we shared monthly conversations about art and traded photos of our work. We continued to inspire each other until his recent departure. So long, Old Pal, and keep painting - GARY
