Dear Mr. Brooks and family, I wish to exted to you my deepest condolences on the death of Anne. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news of her death.
I had the wonderful privilege of working with Anne and sharing many wonderful meals and ocnversations with her during the film "Agnes of God". (I was the religious music consultor for the "nuns".) I had already been a great admirer of hers from the film about Helen Keller. And I have seen most of her films. But my memory of her during those months of filming "Agnes of God", was of woman of character and depth. I will cherish her memory always. May she be deeply present to you from her "new dwelling place".
sincerely, (Fr.) Charles S. Pottie sj

We have just lost one of the greatest actresses of all time. Anne was so versatile that she could make you laugh one minute and cry the next. I own every movie she ever made that is available to buy. I only wish that she could have stayed with us a lot longer. How wonderful it would have been to have known her, at least we got to glimpse her through her many films. What a great lady. I'll always love you Anne...

I loved her, one of my favorite actresses and her smile could light up the world.

I cherished each performance. Her brilliance shone like a diamond in every frame of celluloid.

You see, I was seduced by Mrs. Robinson, too.
