Hempstead, NY - Elijah "Red" Bossie entered life on September 15, 1943 and he received the Lord's call on July 22, 2013. Elijah "Red" Boosie, formerly of Anniston, was a graduate of Cobb Avenue High School "Almighty Panthers", Class of 1963. He attended Tennessee State University. He served in the United States Army and after the Service he moved to New York. He began his work days with the New York Transit System until Retirement. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cora L. Bossie and brother, J.C. Bossie. He leaves to cherish he memories his wife, Everette Bossie, of Hempstead, N.Y.; one daughter, Shelby Bossie; one son, Andre' Bossie, of Hempstead, N.Y.; one sister Shelby (Sammy) Harris, of Folsom, Calif.; one brother, Willie Bossie, of Huntsville; aunts, Willie Star, Ruth DeRamus, Mary Peoples, Carolyn Morris, and Bettie Brown; one uncle, Walter DeRamus; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and loving friends.
