Weaver - Funeral services for Patsy Elaine Johnson, 67, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Clingan officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson died Sunday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband, John W. Johnson; her children, Todd Johnson, Melissa Johnson Love and Donna Johnson Gilmore; her brother, Byron Dupree and sisters, Stella Duke, Ann Mitchum and Margie Deal. She was preceded in death by her parents Redmond and Mary Dupree and brother, Sydney Dupree. Pallbearers will be men of Westwood Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Charleston, S.C. and an active member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company and served 10 years in Baptist Missions. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Westwood Baptist Church. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Johnson family. Pat touched so many lives in ways that one could never imagine. She always said that she was looking foward to getting the chance to talk with GOD because she had so many questions. I can only imagine the twinkle in her eyes when she has that talk.
