Smokey was a familiar face in Scituate to many, but a friend to most of those who knew him. He was a great guy and I know my father misses him very much. I can remember going up to Loudon NH with Smokey and Martha to watch the NASCAR races. He made sure we all woke up early and got up there together safely. I will remember him as a wonderful man that will leave many people sad, but glad they had the opportunity to know and love him. We will miss you very much, Greenbush is going to be different without you.

With the loss of Smokey Greenbush will never be the same. He will be missed by all in the neighborhood. The Alves Family will be in our prayers.

The lessons learned will now be tested, although you are not here,in our hearts, our minds and our daily tasks, your memory will rest.

To Tony-
I'm so sorry to hear about your father, it's very hard to lose a parent. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I know words won't take away the pain at a time like this, but our heart and love go out to the whole family.
Smokie will be greatly missed by the entire town.
