John Creviston Obituary

John R. Creviston

AGE: 58 • Lanoka Harbor

John R. Creviston, 58, of Lanoka Harbor, died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point. Born in Manhattan, Kansas, John later resided in Lanoka Harbor from 1983 until his death. He was a proud Marine Corps veteran and owned and operated Creative Chains. He was an active member of Morning Star Presbyterian Church in Bayville, working with the Food Pantry and various other ministries.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy (D'Angelo) Creviston; his daughter, Alice Marie Creviston; his father, Robert Creviston; two brothers, Doug Creviston and James Creviston and his wife Rebecca; his sister, Lynn Liverakos; and his three nephews, Robert Price, and Ian and Caleb Creviston.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A committal service followed by military honors will take place 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5 in the chapel of Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. A Memorial Gathering and Service will also take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Morning Star Presbyterian Church, 190 Grand Central Parkway, Bayville. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in John's name to either Shore Memorial Hospital or Morning Star Presbyterian Church. We loved meeting John and Nancy when they were in London in 1991, and also when we came to see them in America. We are only sorry that we did not see John in recent years.
