Dear Kim,

Your dad was a dear friend to myself and so many others. He was one of the finest men I have had the honor to have known.

One phase keeps coming to my mind every time I think of him is, "A life well lived". He brought with him a huge smile every time he walked into a room, like no one else :-)

My heart grieves for your family's deep loss.

Your friend always,

Eric

I started my career with IBM in 1962. I began working at Chemical Bank in lower NYC. When I started I was very fortunate to have John as my mentor. He took the time to train me on the IBM machines at that account. John was very supportive and of course was well liked among his fellow 'CE's". He will surely be missed by all of us.
