Alyson Noel once wrote in her book Evermore, "I guess by now I should know enough about loss to realize that you never really stop missing someone - you just learn to live around the huge gaping hole of their absence."

Over the past 30 years of our relationship there wasn't much I didn't know about Judy. She was more than just my employer, she was my mentor, adviser, confidant and friend. For these many years we have shared the joys and sorrows of life, celebrating each others' accomplishments and lending encouragement and support for every hardship. Judy's intelligence and knowledge were impressive, particularly regarding her collection of antiques and bookmarks, investing, and her practice of psychology; it was easy to get caught up in her passion and enthusiasm. She touched the lives of so many people through her work and her professional associations. She also helped me through some difficult times in my life, for which I will be forever grateful, and always made me feel loved and valued. My world seems so much emptier now without her in it.

It is with great sorrow that I acknowledge her sudden passing and extend my deepest sympathy to Jerry and his and Judy's families. May the passage of time and the sweet memories of happier days help to mend our aching hearts.
