I have enjoyed reading all of your memories.

As a young teacher, I was so very fortunate to have had Bert as my principal. His sense of humor was incredible and in all of my memories of him he has a smile on his face. I was fortunate to have his guidance those many years ago at Alicia.

As a former Alicia School student from the late 1960s and early 1970s, I remember Mr. King fondly. He was a calm man, even when you were required to visit his office because of...stuff. I remember him being very smart and encouraging, as well, taking a personal interest in the students. My condolences to his family and a tip of the hat for a life well lived.

I can remembering this man as gentle giant. Being the youngest of the family.
Following older Brother and Sister in the school. Sometime looking at me , trying to remember the right name.
I always felt special going to school.
Never having to much to say, except when it came to my sports.
He always had a good comment the next day after my game.

Thanks, for the words of wisdom.
You will be missed.
