Catherine Ann Savinovich Reinhardt passed away December 4, 2018, at age 90 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Berkeley and raised in Pittsburgh, CA.
Catherine was the valedictorian of her graduating class. She was a member of Alpha Omega Pi and graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She later earned her Masters in Education and was employed by the Campbell Unified School District as a Home and Hospital Special Education teacher for 15+ years.
Catherine was married to Richard Reinhardt for 49 years before he passed away in 2002. Together they raised seven children: Liz Murray (Bill), Richard Reinhardt (Betty), EveAnn Osborn (Todd), Dan Reinhardt (Troy), Mary Reinhardt (Rob Deatsch), Tim Reinhardt and John Reinhardt (Garrett).
Catherine's younger years were spent raising children, volunteering at Montalvo Service Group and tending to her garden and pets. She was a member of AAUW-American Association of University Women and the Junior League. Catherine was a devoted member of a book club with long time college friends.
A Rosary will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 7:00pm at Lipp & Sullivan Funeral Home in Marysville, CA, followed by a private burial.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life January 12, 2019, at 12:30pm at Montevideo Cabana Club, 1585 Monteval Lane, San Jose, CA, 95120
