When I was a little girl my family lived next door to Charlie and Doris. My Father was a teacher at the HS where my great uncle was the principal.
I have many heart warming, fond memories of those days. I have later tried to " keep tabs" on Doris the past few years thru bridge players from Yuba City that I would run into at bridge Regionals. My parents and Doris and Charlie were very good friends.
Please accept my condolences to Doris Ann and family.... she was quite a lady!
I was at your house only once Doris Ann but I remember the visit well.
Your mother was a fine lady.

I always loved your mother when I caddied bridge tournaments for her and my godfather-Chris Staas. They were such savvy bridge players and to this day I regret being so young and not learning to play the game with them. May she Rest In Peace and maybe find a good bridge game to play in heaven. Love and prayers through this time.
