I used to cut school when I was in high school just so I could go to visit Aunt Genny. I always bought old cars when I worked at the fruit stands during the summer so I could visit her and her children (my cousins) during the wintertime when they lived in Linda. She had some good stories and always spoke with a soft voice and smiled a lot. She used to babysit me frequently when I was a young child before I attended grammar school, and would play catch with me with a softball. I thought she was cool because she had a first base mitt. Good memories.
