We will miss u grandpa...we love, u will always be in our hearts
Don was a beloved member of Trinity Anglican Church. I have know him and his wife, Grovene, for many years. Don was well-known for his many wonderful stories he loved to tell, his cheerful attitude and his wonderful faith in God. Her performed 500 funerals for veterans! He loved to sing Amazing Grace for people, and yesterday we sang it in his memory at his graveside service. Rest in peace, Don!
Don was always so glad to see you and so pleasant to converse with. Such a cheerful, loving person. He will be missed.
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I did not know Mr. Churchill personally, but I was at a luncheon at an assisted facility in Marysville and he sang "Amazing Grace" for all of us. I will never forget the sincerity of his singing and the words he sang that day. Thank you for that memory.
We were very grateful to Don when he officiated at my brother's (Rufus R. Dunn) funeral in Live Oak in 2004. Rufus was a U.S.Navy veteran, and we appreciated Don's service very much.
