My sincere condolences to the family and relatives of Leonard E. Larson.

In remembrance of his US Navy service to his country:

He stood by this creed during WW II:

I am a United States Sailor.

I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.

I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy and those who have gone before me to defend freedom and democracy around the world.

I proudly serve my country's Navy combat team with Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

“May the wind always be on your back and the sun upon your face and may the winds of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.”

Mr. Leonard Larson, I salute you!

Mr. Larson was a fine teacher who made science accessible and interesting to a non-science person like me. I have only good memories of him. My sincerest condolences to his beloved family.
August 20, 2013
Mr Larson(I still can't call him anything else) made my science class interesting. He was one of my favorite teachers and one of the most influential persons in my life. I often thought of him throughout my life. I can still close my eyes and see him in the classroom and that was fifty-four years ago.
He leaves a great void in the world. My condolences to his family.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and prayers in the loss of your loving husband, dad, brother grandfather and friend. He was a wonderful man who truly made a positive difference in the lives of thousands of children and adults in our community.
