Lorita Rollins Calhau, passed away January 16, 2018, after a long illness. She was born to Catherine and Rex Rollins on August 13, 1958. She attended Notre Dame School and graduated from Anna McKenney and Marysville High School in 1975.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel (Sonny) G. Calhau, Jr.; 5 sisters, Cathy Jensen (Bob); Christine Catlett (Allen) of Sutter; Genevieve Sciabica of Modesto; Jeannette (Mike) Burke; Theresa Finley (Alan) of Marysville; 6 brothers, Ron Rollins (Nikki); Bill Rollins (Margie); Jim Rollins of Marysville; John Rollins (Beth) of Saratoga; Ed Rollins of Sutter; Tom Rollins of Redmond, WA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and Rex Rollins; nephew, Bobby Jensen; brothers-in-law, Bob Jensen; and Allen Catlett.
Services will be Friday, January 26, 2018, rosary at 10:30 am and mass at 11:00 am, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Immediately following a remembrance gathering at the Marysville Elk's Club.
In lieu of flowers, do an act of charity for a stranger, friend or charity of your choice.

Rita was a very special person. Her big smile and hearty laugh were contagious to all her friends. In essence, she was one of the nicest people I have ever known. To the Rollins family, I am so sorry for your temporary loss, but I assure you we will all see Rita again in our own time.
