I served with Mark in the 22d Infantry at Fort Lewis in the '61-'63 timeframe. Nicknamed "Speedy" by one of his fellow officers we all enjoyed his non-traditional outlook on military life. I later linked with him in San Francisco in December 1964 when he was going to law school and then more recently in July 2005 when we had a mini-reunion in Davis. My condolences to his wife and daughters.

So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I worked for him for seven years till I moved back for an extended visit to the UK and he was a wonderful person to work for. My condolences to his family. Jo Jempson

To all of Mark's family:

Mark had such an influence in my life for so many reasons. He supported and helped me legally, but he also was a good friend who made me laugh and shared his interests with me...books, music, etc. An honest, respectable human in all regards. May God bless you all.
