Nirmal Singh Dhami born on April 12, 1939, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born in Sandaran Sodhian District Hoshiarpur and immigrated to Live Oak, CA in 1957. He was a proud farmer for over 60 years. He was a founding member of the Live Oak -Gridley Sikh Temple. He took great pride in his family. He had a love for adventure and was a true free spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rajinder Singh Dhami and Chanan Kaur Dhami. He is survived by his wife, Surjit K. Dhami, and children, Kulvinder K. Garcha (Dalbir S. Garcha), Gurjit K. Pundhar (late Jaswant S. Pundhar), Ranjit S. Dhami (Reena K. Dhami), and Buljit S. Dhami (Satjit K. Dhami), his grandchildren, Rumneet S. Garcha (Jasmine K. Garcha), Jasmeet S. Garcha, Harneet S. Pundhar, Joshwan S. Pundhar, Raveena Dhami, Raymon S. Dhami, Garrin S. Dhami and Sehjal K. Dhami.
The services will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 1:00pm at Ullrey Memorial Chapel and prayers will follow at Live Oak-Gridley Sikh Temple.
