Magnus L. Godick of Marysville,, CA, passed away June 22, 2017. Born June 4, 1931 in Honolulu, HI, he was a Yuba-Sutter area resident for 50 years.
He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1948 - 1974 (23 years) and retired as an Air Force Ssgt. and retired from Goverment civil service 1994, accumulating 27 years at Beale AFB.
His friends knew him as Mike, Lei to his sisters and brothers and Dad to me.
Survivors include his daughter Christina Godick of Ashland, OR; sisters Hilda Mabe of Portland, OR, Anna Godick of Westport, CT, Hulda Guyton of Kaneohe, HI and Elsie Popelack of Portland, OR. He was preceded in death by his wife Valerie Godick.
Viewing will be from 10am - 2pm, Friday, June 30, 2017 at Lakeside Colonial Chapel, Marysville.

Mike watched over me and encouraged me when I was a very long way away from home. He was a great friend and he deserved more time than I gave him over the last 20 years. Magnus Godick has a heart of pure gold and will be greatly missed by many. The sparkle in his eye remains & is reflected in his precious daughter. I'm sure you're enjoying Home Mike and they're all enjoying your company as well. We miss you for now but will see you again soon.
