Leora Nadine Bennett, of Rio Oso, CA, passed away December 24, 2017. Born March 2, 1919 in Cherokee, Oklahoma, she was a homemaker and Yuba-Sutter resident for almost 80 years.
Leora was a member of the Rio Oso Garden Club, Fairview Community Church, Republican Womens and Camp Fire Girls.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Gardner of Wheatland, CA and JoElla Bennett Huwe of Antelope, CA; grandchildren, John, Darryl, Anna, Jason, Linda, Jim and Hettie; fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, R. LeRoy Bennett.
Services will be held on January 4, 2018 at 11:00 am at Fairview Community Church in Trowbridge, CA with Pastor Mike Cook officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Trowbridge.
