I met Bill in 1964 through a friend that ran the Chrysler Plymouth dealership in Oroville. He was always a character and fun to be around. I lost track of him a few years later but will always remember the fun times we had discussing the car business at which he was a whiz..My condolences to his family.

My condolences to the Skeffington family. My wife and I have known Bill for about 20 years. We first met Bill at the Yuba City Adventist Church. Bill attended the evangelism meetings being held at our church. My wife and I became dear friends with Bill. Pastor Sharp was faithful in his visits to Bill's house for years. At one of my attendance to the Adventist Church in Olivehurst, I had the privilege of speaking with Bill, I asked if he was still getting the cards my wife was mailing him monthly? He replied "that's why I'm here". What a great response that was. We will miss Bill and his charm. Tried to visit him at his home several times, but no answer, we didn't know if he moved, we lost contact with Bill a few years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Blessings, Art and Ann Clegg.

My deepest condolences to all family members of Uncle Bill's.
I have many memories of Uncle Bill. One stands out: He was coming to visit from CA) and was looking forward to steamed clams. Dad and my brothers went clamming and came home with a windfall of clams. When Uncle Bill arrived he was thrilled to see the feast my Mom prepared for him. I will cherish that and additional memories forever! He could tell a story like no one else could. You are in my heart Uncle Bill; I enjoyed our phone calls.
Please offer Grammy, Aunt Jean, Aunt Helen and Uncle John a big hug from me. Until we meet again, until we meet again.
Love, Susan

So sorry for the loss of your father, Maxine. I have lost my dad and know the feelings of loss and despair that comes with his passing. My thoughts are with you and your family.
