I too would like to express my sympathy to Marilyn's family. I remember her PE classes and many things she taught us, much of it centering around being "lady-like" but also numerous fitness instructions. She was always a delight to visit with and remembering Emerald as such a kind man. What a legacy she has left her family and so many others, especially Britton people. Former PE student, Lynne Johnson Haugstad

My sincere condolences to your family. May God "who comforts us in all our trials" (2 Cor 1:4) comfort you and your family at such a difficult time. I know God will help you to endure because he cares for you (1Peter 5 :7).

A very dedicated educator - Always came to our reunions and I personally really enjoyed visiting with her. A former student. She was a great one and will really be missed. A real asset to Britton. A former student. Leo Peterson

Those us who counseled at Lake Poinsett Camp will never forget her famous story of eating celery in bed. A great lady whose witness to the faith touched many of us, young and older.
