Cengubuqotho departed his earthly life at a fairly young age, left behind a legacy that shall live forever in the memories and hearts of those he touched and those who knew him on this side of Heaven. While I only met him once or twice in his short life, I too was affected by that infectious smile of his.
I know his parents very well, our lives intersected copiously during our younger days; His father actually taught me in H.S. May, Ian rest in peace.A Word for his loved ones who are left to cherish his memory: remember what the Bible tells us in 1st Thessalonians 4:13: "That we should not grieve without hope, because Jesus has risen from the dead and gives hope to all who believe in Him that we will rise with Him. So although we cannot help feeling terrible sadness when someone dies, we also have the knowledge that God's ultimate purposes are good, and he has shown His great love for us in the death of His own son for us."

I met Ian about 13 years ago. He coached me in the Long and Triple Jump events. Ian was just a great person, his passion for his Athletes was truly genuine and rare. You could pick Ian out of a crowd of 1000 people by his smile. He was a great listener, coach and friend. I sincerely believe I am a better Coach and Athlete because of him. Coach Ian will be truly missed.
