I am saddened to just hear of her passing. Mrs. Williams was my teacher at Burgess and attended my wedding. My family and I loved her and she taught many of us during our early years. She was a wonderful teacher and example for us all. May She Rest In Peace.

I am not only a friend, but a former co-worker at then- H.O.Burgess.
Claudia and I talked often. I will miss her dearly. To Shun and the family-
As it has been written, "Lo, I am with you always, even until the end." No pain or trial seems short at the time. Weeping endures for the night, and it seems it will never pass. But every night has its ending. Every spell of darkness is finally scattered by the light of day. This, you need to remember in the gloom of the night. And, at the dawning there is joy, jubilation, singing-- joy cometh in the morning. A morning free from sorrow. Your ears will hear a new call, or an order back to old responsibilities. Your steps once again will march with certainty. You'll look around and you'll notice the world keeps turning, and you have climbed back on. Life has its night and day, uphill and downhill; so whatever comes, whenever it comes, you must search your soul to find the strength to live through it. This is what C.T. would have wanted. I can hear her saying," Don't worry about me- I'm alright!" C.T. was my rock. I know she was surrounded by angels-and it was those angels who escorted her to heaven where our heavenly father was awaiting her. I can imagine how He opened His arms and embraced her saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!" She is where we all hope to earn a place-dancing and rejoicing with Him. I ask that God grant all of you peace. She will always live in my heart. God Bless.

Mrs. Williams was an excellent teacher, mentor and role model for hundreds of second graders at Burgess Elementary School. Her behavior, attitude and concern for her students was never questioned. She was a true professional and always looked GOOD. Samuel W. Bacote former Burgess Principal

Mrs. C.T. Williams will be truly miss. I will keep the family uplifted in prayer. Continue to look to the hills from whence cometh your help. Your help cometh from the LORD which made Heaven and Earth. And remember the Lord saying,
I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. (Hebrew 13:5) God word will not come back void.
