Very sorry to hear the news of Uncle Denis. Penny and I were just talking fondly of him yesterday with memories of the pub in the basement, Daisy the Frogeye, my friend Richard playing the piano and wonderful hospitality. Love to all the family.

I was sorry to hear of Denis's passing. My grandfather, Harry, was his elder brother. Denis and his family made us very welcome when we visited and i will always remember being very impressed as a 22 year old at his english bar in his basement! Happy memories.

I am so sorry to hear that Denis passed away in July. We have only just found out as nephew, David, was in Boston last week and he and his cousin Penny googled the website. I have very fond memories of David from my very early years. Thinking of you, Mary.

I was heartbroken to hear of Denis' death. The Rice and Payne families go way back and I always loved to see Denis. His memory will live on with me forever.
