Don was one of my closest and dearest friends and we had many great times together in high school and college.
With Don at Harvard and me at Dartmouth we were together often and we did a few things we wouldn't want our mothers to know about but nothing that would even make face book today.
I like to think that I helped divert Don from teaching Physics to healing people because he did such a great jog at it.
Don was much smarter than I but couldn't BS as well and I always went to him over the decades in practice to get the straight scoop on what was what with endocrine issues that I didn't understand.
Jack Stuckey, Don and I were tight as young men but too busy as old men to spend much time together and I feel very guilty about that.
Don you are in a better place now.
Hold a spot for me.
Your dad taught me Sunday School for years and your Mom loved and fed me for years.
Tell them both hello from "The Whale"

Don will always be remembered for his friendliness and his kindness. He helped make my year at North Fulton(1957-1958) a wonderful experience. My thoughts go to his family at this difficult time.

Saddened to hear of the death of such an
outstanding classmate of the '58 class of
North Fulton. So many memories,so little time to enjoy them.

We have lost one of the "Good Guys". But, as my Grandmother Cantrell always told me, "The Lord needs good people in Heaven also".

Don was one of our intellectuals at North Fulton. He certainly used his God given talents. I am impressed by his courage, serving in Viet

Nam and his heroic battle with Parkensons, which I witnessed at the 50th reunion. May he rest in peace. Tom Garden
