I met Don in 1985 through our mutual friend, Russ Jobson. Don was not only a friend but one of the best appraiser's I have ever dealt with. He will be greatly missed.

Cindy and Family...I am so grateful that you phoned me to tell me of Don's death. I am deeply sad...I was one of those nurses at Fort Ord, CA who nursed Don back to health. We then went on to have a very rewarding friendship with phone calls, e-mail messages...we loved re-living our memories of "fun times" in CA. I too loved his sense of humor! I will deeply miss my friend.

I was updating our appraiser list at work and found that Mr. Pardue passed away. I want to send my condolences, because I lost my father to pancreatic cancer in '07. He was 71. He was also a train enthusiast, so my mother has opened a train museum in Lake Lure, N.C. All monies she collects goes to PANCAN in hopes of finding a cure. I am truly sorry for your loss and wish you peace and comfort.

Cindy & family,
Please accept my condolences for your loss. Don and I knew each other for years on a professional basis in connection with the fine appraisal work he did for my firm. My office is in the Concourse and every time I look out the window and see the American flag which Don played a role in having installed I think of him as a true patriot. On several weekends I saw him riding his scooter to the athletic club and we would kid about his rolling in on his "hog". He had a great sense of humor and we will all miss him greatly.
