I knew Eddie when I worked/studied at Newbury Jr. College giving out books with him for (CEC). He gave me rides back to Beverly where I grew up. He was such a nice guy. It is sad to know this well-respected man is no longer making people smile. You were the best, Eddie!

I worked for Ed in Richmond, VA at Bryant & Stratton. He was a wonderful man and boss. My heart was heavy as I learned this news. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as they deal with this loss. May God bless all of you.

Ed was my mentor, at times family & always a friend. My heart hurts so much Cheryl for you & the kids( they were too young to remember me). I am struggling with the loss of a man that I thought was invincible. I don't understand how to believe in good when we lose a man like Ed. I miss you my friend.

sorry that my first news of eddie since 1969 was this. we grew up together sailing, hanging out in helen's kitchen on lovett st. , skiing, riding to school each day-rain,shine, snow with eddie and jon freeman in ken cormier's rumble seat. we had so many great times. i'm sorry i let us get so far out of touch. bob normand

To the Abrams family...Ed was a man who spoke his mind with great conviction and courage. He would give you a "jab" with a smile on his face and you knew he liked you. I heard from others that he had respect for me as I did for him. I can't help but think he's asking someone right now if the student is "packaged" and ready to start school.

God Bless you in this time of sorry. You are in my prayers daily.

The "Business" misses you Ed!
