I grew up on key biscayne and had my Cub Scout Den mother across from President Nixon house who selected Henry Kissinger as Secretary of State. I was invited to a city COUNCIL meeting by Mayor EVA GALAMBOS when I lived in Sandy Springs.

Condolences to John and children. Eva, from their early days at Emory gave so much energy and creativity to the entire Atlanta metro community from the civil rights era to the finishing act in Sandy Springs. So few of her kind pass this way. Rest in peace Eva.

When I first moved to Grogans Bluff in Sandy Springs, Eva was the first person on my door step and made me a believer of the Republican party. Every place she went luncheons or meetings she had me under her wing. I loved being a hostess for the women's republican party in my home.
