My sincere sympathy to the family of Anna Gay, a dear member of my Rich's family. Mrs. Gay was one of the first friends I made when I was in Customer Service at Lenox in 1976. Through the years, she became a good friend. She made my start at Rich's so pleasant as she always had a smile and exemplified those sterling qualities that native Atlantans expected from Rich's. She touched many lives in the unique, caring way she dealt with children and their
parents. Blessings to her family.

Dear Janice,
I was saddened to learn of your mother's death. I was always so fond of her, as well as you. My own mother, Garnie, died last December 29 at the age of 101. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family, and I pray that God will be with you and comfort you as you go through the days and weeks ahead.
Love,

I left a message at another location but I just wanted Janice to know how much I enjoyed visiting with her mom as we lived across from one another at condo location in Gainesville.
I know she is a peace now and not in any more pain. I will miss visiting her and last Christmas she wanted me to see her tree which was special to her.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers at this time and tomorrow during her service.

To the Anna Gay family:
I was a neighbor of Anna for 2 years.
I think without her and her kindness to my sister and I at the time of looking for a condo I would not be living where I am now.
I enjoyed visiting with her over the time I have been living at my condo and last Christmas she wanted me to come over and look at her tree which was special to her.
I am going to miss her and Janice I know she is having the best time with those who passed before her.
I will be thinking of you and the family during this time and her service tomorrow. I hope to see you later.

My sincerest condolences to Janice and all of the other family members. Anna was a wonderful mentor for me in my very first real job in the boy's department at Rich's. As a teenage girl I was pretty disappointed at first to find out that my assignment was the boy's department, but Anna helped me and truly made coming to work fun. She was a wonderful lady. I am grateful to have known her.
