COOPER, Fred Frederic (Fred) D. Cooper, 74 of Tucker died on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. He was born in Salem, Massachusetts. Fred was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War era. He was an active member of Tucker Lodge #42 F. & A.M. where he served as a Past Master. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Cooper of Tucker; his daughters and sons-in-law, Carrie Ann (Erik) Johanson of Newnan, and Danette (Josh) Risner of Brookhaven; his grandson, Cole Johanson of Newnan; his two nephews, Bob Heaton and Wayne Heaton. Memorial services will held on Saturday, March 15, 2013 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until service time. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Masonic Children's Home, PO Box 4183 Macon, GA 31208. I attended High School with Fred in Beverly, Mass. and will always remember Fred as being a genuine nice fellow and great classmate. Many years have passed and I now live in Oregon and just recently lost my beloved husband of 51 years. I am well aware of the complete devastation . There is a hole in your heart that will never heal. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.
