Ariel: I am sorry to have been out of town at the time of George's death. Know that I always considered him a very special person, so giving and kind. Thank you for introducing him to me so long ago. Remember, I am here for you and hope to see you soon.
Love, Tally

Dear Dear Friend,
How you have inspired me as teacher, organizer and constant friend. I am so proud to have been your student at Clark Atlanta University's School of Social Work. You must be proud to know I now teach at a university and of course it's policy and organizational management. I thank you. Rest in peace.

I was so sorry to learn of George's death. It was my good fortune to be one of his students in Atlanta University's MSW program in the late 1970's. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk with and helpful many, many times. I valued his advice, appreciated his kindness and enjoyed his friendship.
I am saddened by your loss. Please know you have my deepest sympathy.
