My husband and I have attended Carol's Saturday morning Pilates class at the Y for the last 7-8 years. It isn't always easy to get up and dressed by 9am on a Saturday, but Carol ALWAYS made it worthwhile, which is why we went! She had an easiness about her that drew you in, not to mention what a wonderful instructor she was in any discipline she was teaching. I especially looked forward to our conversations after class about her life/my life, our children and families. She loved her family so much. We miss her everyday at the Y and hope that the family finds peace and comfort knowing how many people in our community and beyond loved her. She touched a lot of lives with her kindness.
We are maintaining the following website for posting memories of carol.

I only knew Carol briefly at the
YMCA, but she left a lasting impression. I'll always remember her smile and her strong faith in Jesus
Christ. May God bless her family with peace.

This is still so difficult to fathom, but please know, Stuart, that you and the kids are covered in prayer. I got a brief time to reconnect with Carol at the women's retreat this year and talk to her about passion for having women spend time with Christ during their time with her in yoga. She was truly a special, Godly woman who touched so many.
Carol was always so radiant and full if life. We grew up together at Southminster, and she has always been a delight. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, children, Lynn, Sue and Jim. She will be forever loved and missed.

We remember Carol as a smiling, generous & warm woman. She always made us feel at home when we visited & had a family that was as generous & loving as she was. This is a terrible loss of a wonderful person.
