I just found out about Dave's death and am truly sorry to hear that he is gone. I knew him during his senior year in college and when he started his engineering career. I'll never forget his little white Porsche, his nutty sense of humor or his patience in teaching me to drive a stick shift in a hilly town. I am so sorry for the loss to his family and everyone who knew him.
Sorry for your lost I hope the god of comfort will be with you and your family through these times of need.
Cheryl, I am so so sorry for your loss.
Cheryl, Sorry I missed the memorial service, and especially sorry that we don't have Dave Stauss anymore. He was a special, professional, wonderful, caring person. Please be strong. George G.
My sincerest condolences to the Stauss family. May the promise found in Is. 25:8 be of comfort to you and your loved ones.
I worked with Dave when at Fort Stewart, as well as SERO and FORSCOM. Dave was such a great supervisor and co-worker, with tremendous patience. He was not just a "go thru the motions" type of guy, but truly helped everyone, and it was greatly appreciated. He will be sorely missed. My thought and prayers go out to you and your family.
I worked with Dave for a long time. I am proud to be his friend. He will be missed.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
I am sadden to hear of David's passing. We worked together for a short time at FORSCOM with Steve K. He was always a bright light and a true professional. My prayers to his family.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Cheryl - Dave touched so many lives in a positive way and will be greatly missed. He will remain in our hearts and memory.
The VMI brotherhood will miss Dave sorely. We have the fondest memories of him as a young cadet and he lived a full life after leaving the Institute.
Cheryl, sending you love and light. Xoxo
Dave was one of the sweetest funniest guys I know. And a damn good musician to boot. And he had the best costumes. I'm so glad I had the good fortune to know him.
As a friend of Drew's for many years, I'm sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Sending my condolences to the entire Stauss family.
