Mrs.Cobb was well bless as psalms 90:10 says because of special mightyness.
As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this time of celebrating your mom's wonderful life.
Tommy, your Mother attended my Mother's 85th birthday party Sept. 21 at MVT. She was always such a joy to be around and I loved her smile. You must feel blessed to have had her so long. May God bless you. (Betty Daniel's daughter, Terressa.)
Dear Tommy & Sandra, Obviously an amazing woman. Sounds like "a life well lived."
Tommy....thinkin' bout you at this difficult time...May God bless you and yours.
Your mother is now reaping her Rewards in Heaven, for ALL the gifts she gave on earth! What a wonderful life's legacy, which she left for others. Garnett's life-long service of giving and sharing to her beloved community is her earthy legacy.
Your Mother, and Sandra, your Mother-in-Law, followed in Christ's "Foot Steps", as Our Savior preached. My guess, Garnett's "Big Smile" is beaming, today!
My Prayers are with You, Sandra, and Family at this time.
My condolences to the Cobb family. May you find comfort in knowing that "God will comfort all those who mourn". Isaiah 61:2
My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Tommy and Sandra,
I am so sorry for your loss. What a long and prosperous life! We are all blessed when we hear of one of the Saints leaving such a legacy. My mom was 92 when she passed on 2 years ago in May, and like your mom, she is missed. Karen and I will keep you close in our prayers. Take care.
What an amazing lady. And she was blessed with a wonderful son and a sweet beautiful daughter in law . Her energy will inspire us all to do more for our community.
Dear family and friends of Garnett,
She was such an incredibly special person, and what a gift to anyone who was lucky enough to meet her and know her. I must share a story with all of you. My oldest daughter interviewed her for a school project in 2002. The assignment was to interview someone who has seen a lot of change in the world. I immediately recommended Garnett, and gave her a call. She was gracious, of course, and granted the interview. My daughter asked her what was "trendy" when she was a teenager. Garnett replied that the biggest thing then was playing Monopoly. She also told us that her family was the first to have a telephone, which at the time was a party line. People would travel to their home to see and use this. One had to be careful what was said, as everyone else in the community would know about it. She recounted her memories of trolley cars, and thought that when electric curlers were introduced, it was amazing! She also recalled the introduction of television, and that they were one of the first families in their neighborhood to have one of these as well.
She was a great lady, a very special friend, and I am proud to have known her. May she live on in the memories of those whose lives she touched, and her incredible legacy will carry on for the benefit of many generations to come.

Tommy and Sandra,
You know how much I will miss Garnet. She was an inspiration and a joy to be around. If anyone deserved to have a full and vivacious 104 years on this earth, it was she. She lived a life to be celebrated and she celebrated it every day.
Love to you both.
May the god of all comfort the family during this time of sorrow. " Those who die, God keep in his memory because they are precious in his eyes." (Psalms 116:15)
Thinking of you both during this time. She was one in a million!!! What an inspiration! Love to you both! Barry and Renee
