I wish to extend my deepest Sympathy to the Smith Family. I attended Sunday school at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in 1952 with our neighbor, and God-Parents, Mr. & Mrs. Bill Sellers (Aunt Flora) as everyone called her. I shall never forget the love that ALL of the people in our community shared with this GREAT MAN OF GOD...He lived the word EVERY DAY, and shared the word with every person he met!!! What a joy to have met, known, and listened to many sermons preached by him. He instilled a good value system within me and so many other young people. I give GOD All of the praise for what he meant to me and my family and ALL of our community, may each of you be Blessed and live the life that he breathed daily!!! May each of you touch and speak into the lives of everyone whom you encounter. You are Blessed to have had such a powerful Christian man in your family, and in your personal lives!

May you and the family draw comfort from Isa.41;9-10,13
First, giving Honor and Glory to God for these two magnificent lives. Then, to express sincere and deepest condolences to the family.
Rev. Smith(w/his wife by his side)married a young couple in 1969 in the midst of Wednesday nite Bible study. They were very supportive and not judgmental. I'll always remember their display of Christian kindness and encouragement for two scared teens. Since such time, we've gone our separate ways, but I never forgot their advise and wisdom.
Sincerely and Respectfully,
May you draw close to God in prayer and find comfort in reading his Word.
Angela, Isaac, Joyce & The Smith Family,
You are in our prayers. May fond memories of Rev. & Mrs. Smith comfort you in the days ahead.
Trust in the Lord always.

What a lovely life story. Rev. Smith is with Jesus now. What a model of a Godly man, and a Godly life. Thank you Jesus, for this holy man among us. I never met him, but reading about him just inspired me. God bless his soul, his family, friends, and all he touched.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends Proverbs 17:17
With Deep Sympathy
I remember the first "meeting" I had with the Rev. Smith in 1971. He was the pastor and friend of my grandfather & grandmother Deacon Willie James & Ella Champion for 50+ years from Siloam/White Plains, GA. I remember as a little girl that relocated from Brooklyn and visiting the church for the first time hearing the powerful message and culminating way in which he would end his sermons - that memory will always be wonderful! The Smith family - just know he left a positive impact on the CHAMPION family lives.
Rev and Mrs. Smith - you are still together and now truly in heaven! I am happy you are reunited. Both of you left a legacy of true love for each other and the Lord for all that knew you. R.I.P both of you. I am honored to have known you and we will all miss you! Well done!
