The God of comfort is near to those that are broken at heart, and promises us that he will undo all the effects of death, and remove death itself.
May God grant the Smith family pease and
comfort at this time. Romans 15:4

When I first passed the bar over 30 years ago, I visited Judge Smith in his courtroom. Judge Smith, a friend of my mother and father, Anndine and Bob Bennett, was very kind to me. I will always remember him saying, you can sit in front of the bar now. A great judge who will be sorely missed.
"A true servant of the law" was how my husband felt about Judge Smith. Deepest sympathy to all of his family.
Fond memories of a kind gentleman while our children were students at LHS. Love and blessings to Inga, Bryan, and Merck. Georgeanna Kicklighter
My condolences goes out to the family. May God strengthen your family doing this time. (1Cor.1:3,4)
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
I express my deepest sympathy to the SMITH FAMLIES AND FRIENDS. MAY YOU TAKE comfort from the GOD OF REFUGE, PSALM 46; 1. GA.
I will always remember Judge Smith as a kind and warm person who was not only a legal scholar, but talented in so many other ways My father, B.J. Smith, and I enjoyed many times with him, as well as holiday events at this home where his family was always so gracious. May God give his family strength during this time of loss and may they cherish all of the wonderful memories.
We are so very sorry for your loss. It is a blessing however, that your Husband and father lived a full successful, and satisfying life doing what he loved doing. God does not forget the good we do in behalf of others ~Ecclesiastes 2:24~ May all of you serve as a tower of strength for another during the challenging days to come.
