Mr Dodd was the principal when I went to Russell in the 60s. RIP
Mr Dodd was a great man and Principal at Russell High during the turbulent '60s. He was firm but always fair. Being on the Student Council for all five years (8-12) and President my Sr yr I had the distinct pleasure of working with him closely on many occassions. I hold his memory close in my heart. Sincerely, David Young.
I remember Mr. Dodd fondly. He represented one of the best of "tough but fair" men in his generation. He contributed to a lot of young lives and had a long and meaningful life. R.I.P., coach. Go Russell Wildcats! --Gone but Not Forgotten--
Mr. Dodd will always remain fresh in my memories.
My sympathies to all who cared for Mr. Dodd. He brought American history alive in the 1959-60 senior class, plus got us all to regesitar to vote. My favorite teacher that year.
Mr. Dodd was my chemistry teacher at M D Collins and principal at M D Collins upon my graduation in 1973. He was a gentleman and a scholar. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father and a fine citizen.

Mr. Dodd was my favorite teacher at Russell High School. I had him as my History teacher in 1951-52 and it was his first year teaching! My prayers are with his family and I know you are proud of his legacy!
M. D. Collins, Class of 1973 was the second graduating class for the new school, opened in 1969/70, with Mr. Dodd at the helm. We were so proud of our new school! He was a great leader and will be fondly remembered!
My sympathy to the family. I graduated from RHS in 1969/Mr. Dodd was principal most of the years I was there. He served his country and continued to serve in public education. May God Bless you all.
