Dear Deanne..I have moved to Connecticut and just about a month ago heard of Lester's passing..I am sorry this is so late...Theo bean and Les were lifelong, best friends.. I am sorru he is gone and will always remember his wit and charm..jean bean..my thoughts are with you and your family
les was my cousin and affected my life
greatly and sincerely! He always came
to others with such a positive and funny attitude which could stimulate anyone. He got his persomality from
his outstanding mother, Caroline Shivers Hardwick who was exactly like
her son. I miss both of them greatly!
I just learned about Lester's passing. I was a childhood friend of his son's and spent many days at their house and some at their lake house on lake Lanier. I have great memories. My prayers go out to you all.
I had the good fortune to work with Lester at Sedgwick. He always had a ready smile and a great story for you. He was a kind and decent man ... a real Southern gentleman. He will be missed.
we share the family sadness may GOD be with you all.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
May the God if all comfort be with the family at this time of sorrow.
Lester Shivers Hardwick was named, as I, for our Grandfather, Lester Leonidas Shivers. Les was one of the most generous and kindest individuals that has ever lived. I did not know my Grandfather but I am told that he and Les were copies of each other. I am extremely proud of both.
Sorry to hear of Lester's passing. I worked with him for many years, and enjoyed every minute. What a great professional, outdoorsman, and gentleman!
Lester Hardwick was truly "one of a kind". I enjoyed every minute I ever spent in his presence. I particularly loved his sense of humor, wonderful stories and his zest for life. He will dearly be missed, but never forgotten. Love and hugs to his wife Deann,to whom he loved and adored.
